As you may have seen on Facebook last week, the Redbank Shopping Village plans are coming along well with our architects Clark Hopkins Clark looking to lodge DA in the very near future. We are currently working on the final look & feel and detailed 3-D renders, which are looking fantastic and we look forward to sharing them with you soon. This urban village with a rural heart will not stray too far from the beautiful Hawkesbury heritage that we all love so much.

Upon receiving the construction certificate in early March, we have now started construction for the new grand Redbank entry statement near the sales office. J.K. Williams started site preparation on the 19th March and it is anticipated at this point that these works will be ongoing through to late September.

Traffic control procedures will be in place for the duration of the works with some minor adjustments to speed limits immediately adjacent to the work site for construction worker’s safety. There will also be single lane traffic flow for a period of a couple of months. Redbank & JK Williams are both mindful and committed to minimising the impact of all works on all residents living in and passing through the area. We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience over the duration of this work and aim to complete it with minimal disturbance.

Another major milestone for the Redbank development happened during the month with Redbank Communities agreeing to contribute a total of $1.85 million towards the upgrade of the North Richmond Community Centre. These upgrades are expected to commence in 2019 and will significantly improve this vital community facility used by so many. Once we receive details of the upgrade plan from Council, we will share them with you all.

We wish you all a very happy Easter and hope you enjoy the long weekend to the fullest.
