Redbank’s Grose River Bridge

Redbank Communities has entered into a formal Voluntary Planning Agreement with the Hawkesbury City Council that commits us to spending over $55 million on additional local infrastructure improvements including roads, pathways, parks and amenities.

At the forefront of this agreement is an additional river crossing over the Grose River which has now had a DA lodged for close to 3 years. This proposed alternate river crossing is funded by Redbank, with no cost to Council and the community regardless of cost blow outs. After years of no action by authorities the encouraging news is for the first time Council, RMS, State Government and the developer are working closely together to build the bridge. We hope to make a joint public statement in the immediate future about progress of the bridge which will greatly improve traffic in the area. Watch this space!
