The Winter Spectacular

Big thanks to everyone who joined us for our Bonfire BBQ night on Saturday 21st July, in our beautiful new Bel Park in Belmont. It was an absolutely fantastic night, with over 400 members of our Redbank community attending.

We enjoyed a delicious spit roast dinner, live band, roasted marshmallows, and a few drinks at the bar. Kids had a ball on the jumping castle & the RFS fire truck, and thoroughly enjoyed the magic show and other game shows they participated in. While it was a chilly night to be outside, the atmosphere was nothing but warm and inviting. It was great to see so many of you meeting more of your neighbours and making new friends around the bonfires.

We are proud to be able to host such a fantastic community get together, and events like these are one of the most rewarding aspects of what we do. Along with the Redbank family members, we had many other guest from the local community joining us for the event. Special thanks go to Susan Templeman MP, David & Lyn Peel from the Peel family, our friends from Grose World RFS, members of the Kurrajong-North Richmond Rotary Club, the principal of Richmond North Public School and the amazing ladies from the Pink Finss Charity for joining us on the night.

But above all, the biggest shout out goes to our resident volunteers (you know who you are) who worked tirelessly behind the scene to make this event a huge success. This winter spectacular was the largest event Redbank Communities has hosted to date. We look forward to seeing you all in the next exciting community event. If you have any ideas, please do not hesitate to pass it on to us.
